Money talk, made simple. There are two plans, and the good news is that the free one is genuinely useful — not a crippled trial. Here's exactly what each one gives you, in plain words.
The short version
- Free — a cloud-synced vault across all your devices, for up to 100 bookmarks, with no file attachments. No credit card needed.
- Pro — unlimited bookmarks, plus file attachments, automatic backups, and full export.
You can start free forever. Upgrade when you outgrow 100 bookmarks or want to attach files.
Bring your own AI (both plans)
Bommel Bot doesn't sell you an AI model. Instead, you connect your own — a local one (Ollama or LM Studio) or your own cloud key. Once it's connected, the AI librarian can auto-title, tag, summarize, and file things for you. No model connected? Everything still works — you just do the filing yourself.
Free — a real, cloud-synced vault
The Free plan gives every signed-in, verified account a cloud-backed library:
- Save up to 100 bookmarks, synced across all your devices.
- Connect your own AI so it can title, tag, and file things for you.
- Browse and search your whole library, your way.
- Set in-app reminders.
- Publish and share any bookmark or collection from your own public profile at
@you. - Save by messaging a bot — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Slack. (Bot saves count toward your 100.)
The two things Free doesn't include are file attachments (images, PDFs, documents) and backup and export — both are Pro features.
Pro — unlimited, with files and backups
Pro is $8 a month, and it removes the limits:
- Unlimited bookmarks — the 100 cap is gone.
- File attachments — images, PDFs, documents, and code/script files, stored securely in the cloud (100 MB per account).
- Backup and export — full backups (.zip), encrypted exports, and JSON/CSV export & import. Your data is always safe and always yours.
