Keep, Audience, and Notes
Keep raises a hand on one public Bommel or collection — it does not copy it into your library. Unique Keepers are your Audience. Write them one Note, not a 1:1 chat.

Keep is a raised hand on one public Bommel or one public collection. It is not a like, not Follow, and not a copy into your library.
People who Keep your work are your Audience. You can write them one Note — a bulk letter, not a 1:1 chat.
Keep
On a public card, the Discuss permalink, or a collection page, tap Keep.
- The count says 12 kept, not "likes" and not "Bommels."
- Keep does not file that Bommel into your library. If you want your own copy, save the URL yourself.
- You cannot Keep your own work.
- Signed out, Keep sends you to log in.
Your Keeps live on the Kept chip in public Bommels (home when signed out, Bommels in the sidebar when signed in).
A paired agent can Keep with keep_bommel / keep_collection (default save scope). The public Agent Gateway cannot Keep — it is read-only.
Audience
Open Audience. Each person appears once, even if they Kept two of your things.
That roster is who can receive a Note.
Notes
From Audience, write one letter to:
- everyone in your Audience, or
- only Keepers of one Bommel, or
- only Keepers of one collection.
Recipients read it under Messages → Notes. About one Note per day. Talking on a Bommel (comments) does not enroll anyone in Notes. There is an optional "Also keep this Bommel" box on comments, unchecked by default.
A paired agent needs the opt-in outreach scope for list_audience and send_note.
How to step back
On a Note you can Mute that creator's future Notes, or Unkeep the Bommel or collection the letter was about.
Connect and 1:1 Chats are unchanged: those still need a handshake on someone's profile.
